Day 1
Upon you arrival into Arusha, you are met at the airport by your English speaking guide and transferred to your accommodation.

Day 2
This morning we venture into the Serengeti National Park where we will be staying for two nights. The Serengeti National Park is the other half of Kenya's Masai Mara, most famous for the great migration.

Day 3
This morning, weather permitting, take to the skies to experience the Serengeti and its endless plains by hot air balloon (optional expense). For those who prefer to keep their feet on solid ground, head into the park for a morning game drive. Enjoy breakfast and relax before heading out once more for a late afternoon game drive. (Breakfast, lunch and dinner)

Day 4
This morning we say goodbye to the Serengeti and enter the Ngorongoro crater.
Ngorongoro is one of the largest unbroken calderas in the world that is not a lake. Located inside the crater is an abundance of animals, concentrated in just 264 square kilometres, which makes for some of the most spectacular wildlife viewing in the whole of Africa.
We spend the night on the shores of nearby Lake Manyara, said by Ernest Hemingway to be 'the loveliest lake in Africa'.

Day 5
We spend today at Lake Manyara. Home to over 300 migratory birds, including the flamingo, long-crested eagle and grey-headed kingfisher, we take to the water for a boat cruise.

Day 6
This morning we take our final safari of the trip. Famous for its tree climbing lions. Lake Manyara is more densely forested than the Serengeti with more brush and woodland, making for some great bird watching in the swamp and wetland areas.
This afternoon, join in with the locals at the Mto wa Mbu market, before we head back to Arusha.

Day 7
Depart anytime today for Zanzibar* with your guide transferring you to the airport.
You are met at the airport in Stonetown, Zanzibar and taken to your hotel.
Zanzibar is a historic slave trade centre with both Swahilli and Islamic influences. Famed for its spices, Zanzibar is also the birth place of Queen's Freddy Mercury. You wil not have a guide for the rest of your stay but all transfers and included activities are arranged and you will be picked up at your hotel by local tour guides and drivers. (Breakfast)

Days 8 & 9
Spend the next two days soaking up the sights and smells of Stonetown. Get lost in the winding streets, learn the history of this former slave town and watch the sunset on a roof top bar.

Day 10
Departing today for the sparkling blue waters of the Indian Ocean, stopping for a spice tour on the way to your beachside hotel.

Days 11 & 12
Spend the next two days relaxing on the white sand beach overlooking the beautiful Indian Ocean. Take a snorkelling trip or simply lie back with a good book. (Breakfast)

Day 13
Say goodbye to Zanzibar as your airport transfer picks you up from the hotel and takes you back to the airport.
